Wellhead / Drilling Module
Weighing 7,100 Tonnes and comprising of 4 deck levels with a mounted Drilling Sub-structure the Bravo wellhead / drilling structure was the largest single module to be built on the Yard and one of the heaviest offshore lifts on the project.
Following fabrication and final assembly at the quayside adjacent to the Deck Assembly building, the module was loaded out using trailers in 1992. The platform began production in 1993 and became an important hub for processing oil and gas condensate from other fields. Occidental, the original operators, relinquished ownership of the Piper Field to Elf Enterprise Caledonia during the development phase of the project.
