Towheads & Protection Structures
As one of a number of Beryl area satellite fields Buckland was discovered in the late 1990’s. Five Towheads and protection structures for Buckland were fabricated and completed in April 1999. The Towheads were shipped to Wick for assembly with Bundles and the Piles and protection panels shipped directly offshore in July 1999. Following installation and testing, production commenced later that year.
